The Downland Volunteer Group urgently needs drivers and admin support. Just a few hours a month could help local people attend vital appointments or stay connected. Mileage reimbursed, full support provided.

The Downland Volunteer Group (DVG) urgently needs new volunteers to help local residents who are elderly, sick, disabled, or otherwise in need. DVG provides essential transport and practical help, ensuring people can attend vital medical appointments and remain connected to their community

For many, a volunteer driver is the difference between attending a vital medical appointment, staying socially connected, or simply feeling supported in daily life. Just a few hours of your time each month could make that difference.

Why Volunteer?

  • 🚗 Drive with purpose: Help neighbours reach medical appointments or community activities.
  • 💙 Be part of a team: Friendly support and guidance provided.
  • 💸 No cost to you: Mileage expenses reimbursed.
  • 🌟 Feel-good factor included: Knowing you’ve made a real difference.

Other Opportunities

Not a driver? DVG also needs volunteers to help with admin and phone support in their Compton office. Even a couple of hours a month can be invaluable.

How to Get Involved

If you have a car, a little spare time, and a big heart, DVG would love to hear from you.
